DIY Picture Letter

DIY Picture Letter
This is a great DIY project idea for room decor, party decorations, or gifts.

Supplies:
The supplies you'll need are a wooden letter (I got mine from Michael's), Mod Podge (glossy finish), foam brush, scissors, X-Acto knife, and pictures printed out on regular printer paper.

Step 1: Print and cut out photos that you want to use.

Step 2: Use the Mod Podge to fully coat the front of the wooden letter you chose and place desired photos on. (The pictures will be hanging off the sides of the wooden letter at this stage--that's ok). Let it dry for about 20 minutes.

Step 3: Turn the letter over so that you can see the excess paper from the photos. Use an X-Acto knife to trim the edges so that they are flush with the wooden sides.

Step 4: Cover the pictures (on the front of the wooden letter) with a thin layer of Mod Podge, as well as the sides of the wooden letter (Tip: it looks better if you apply the Mod Podge in strokes towards the same direction).
The Mod Podge will seal the photos to the wooden letter and create a smooth, seamless finish.
Let it dry for about 20 minutes.

Step 5: Apply a second coat of Mod Podge. Let it dry for 20 minutes and then your Picture Letter is done!
