Firmoo Sunglasses Review

I've been loving these new sunglasses that Firmoo sent me! I picked out an all black style (because I always buy black clothing and accessories) and got ones with the non-prescription lenses. They also offer glasses with prescriptions but I just wanted some new sunglasses for the summer.

Ordering Process/Shipping
The ordering process was pretty easy. I didn't have any issues navigating the website and once it was in my cart I created an account and checked out. Shipping didn't take too long and I got notification emails along the way regarding my order which was nice because then I wasn't wondering what was going on with it.

Style
My favorite part about these glasses is the gold accent on the side of the temples and on the bridge area (style #OMJ2615). I love gold and black together I think it goes great with anything! These are unisex glasses but I feel like they are more feminine looking (they aren't the kind of style my boyfriend would wear). However, they do have tons of other styles available for both guys and girls.

One thing that I noticed was that when I was wearing these and looking at a screen (like a T.V. or phone) it kind of had a holographic effect (due to the type of lenses used) but when I was driving I didn't notice this!

Price/Quality
The glasses I got retail for $19 and most of the other non-prescription sunglasses on their site run around the same price. The cost will go up if you add things like prescription lenses.

I feel like the quality of glasses is great! The sunglasses I got definitely felt like a better quality then Forever 21 or H&M pairs and I also love that it came with a hard shell case AND a soft shell case. I recently bought some $50 sunglasses and all those came with was a soft case, but I prefer the hard shell ones just because I'm always throwing random things in my purse and I don't want them to get squished.

Also the glasses came with a screw adjuster, which was great because I always have sunglasses where the arms get loose and I never have a screwdriver small enough to tighten them.

Where to Buy
These sunglasses are sold online at Firmoo's website!
Use the code KRISTINA to get $10 off of non-prescription sunglasses until August 31!

Not affiliated, but thanks to Firmoo for sending me these to review :)

OLE HENRIKSEN | Voxbox Influenster Review

This is my review of the Ole Henriksen Influenster Voxbox! The last influenster box that I received was the Covergirl one. I was super excited that I qualified for this box because I'd received a sample of their Pure Truth Youth Activating Oil and loved it!

The products that came in this box were a sheer transformation face cream, truth serum collagen booster, the Power Bright 3-step brightening system, and a professional cleansing sponge.

POWER|BRIGHT
The first product that I tried out was the Power Bright 3-step brightening system. It came with 3 pods and says to use 3 times weekly. They package it in pods because it's supposed to "protect the benefits of formulas."

The first pod is the truth sugar glow polishing mask. You apply it to clean, damp skin and leave on for 5-10 mins. I left on mine a little longer then 10 mins because I was watching T.V. and got distracted. When you're rinsing it off you're supposed to use warm water and massage it into your skin. This part feels good because the polishing mask has lots of exfoliating beads in it!

Step 2 is a truth vitamin C concentrate. You apply this to dry skin and leave on for 2-3 minutes and don't rinse it off.

Step 3 is a pure truth melting cleanser. You apply it on top of step 2 and leave on for 10-15 mins. I left mine on for about 15 minutes before rinsing it off. When you're removing it you're supposed to gently use the dampened cleansing sponge (or a washcloth). The first time I used it I forgot to use the sponge but the time after that I remembered and it definitely felt like I was getting a deeper clean when I removed it with the sponge!

TRUTH SERUM COLLAGEN BOOSTER
After using the 3-step brightening system I would apply the truth serum to my neck and face. I used about one to one and a half pumps of product each time and it applied very easily. It wasn't too thick but melted into my skin nicely. The only thing I didn't like that much was the scent. It kind of smelt like an orange medicine. I preferred the scent of their Pure Truth Youth Activating Oil much more.

SHEER TRANSFORMATION FACIAL CREAM
The final step I did at night was apply the sheer transformation cream to my face and neck. I liked this cream because the scent is different from the collagen booster and isn't overwhelming. It's an oil-free moisturizer that's supposed to even your skin tone and smooth the texture. I haven't seen a drastic difference in my skin tone (I feel like I would need to use this for a month or longer to see a noticeable change) but it did help moisturize my face at night and blended with the skin easily.

FINAL THOUGHTS
All of these products are available at Sephora. The Sheer Transformation and the Truth Serum are also available on Ole Henriksen's website. Out of these three products the Power | Bright brightening system was definitely my favorite!

JARVIS COSMETICS REVIEW | Miracle Serum + Rejuvenating Cream

Watch my YouTube review here
About Jarvis Cosmetics
Jarvis Cosmetics is a new company that currently has two products available online, a Miracle Serum and Rejuvenating Cream as well as a set that contains both plus a bonus item. I was sent the set to review.

Jarvis Cosmetics focuses on Traditional Korean Medicine practices, which aims to balance and improve the skin by focusing on restoring the skin to it's healthiest state. They use a lot of herbs to make their products and I have listed all the ingredients at the bottom of this post.
Serum + Cream

Packaging
The packaging that the set comes in is really sturdy and packaged well. The products are inside a box and surrounded by foam so nothing was broken or leaked during transit.

The company also said that they could be changing the packaging that the products currently come in, however I like the packaging that they have now! Both the serum and cream come in bamboo style containers that remind me of Tarte Cosmetic's bamboo packaging and brushes.
Miracle Serum

Products
I've used both the serum and cream for over a month and a half. The directions recommended using them twice a day. In the morning after washing my face, I applied the serum, then if I felt like I needed some more moisture I applied some of the cream. At night I would wash my face, apply the serum, then apply the cream.

The very first night I tried out these products I woke up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and remember thinking that my face felt so moisturized! I haven't really used a face cream or lotion before because I just hadn't invested in one yet and I could definitely tell a difference when I used the cream!

The serum was easy to apply. It comes in a push top bottle so I would use one squirt each time I applied it and would kind of pat it into my skin. I was traveling a lot while I was testing the serum and my skin tends to get irritated when I travel but other then that I didn't notice any issues or irrations arise from using these products.

Both products have a pretty strong scent. If you've ever been to an Asian massage place or a spa it had a smell similar to that. Very strong herbal smells, that you will notice when you apply the product, however I did not think it was a bad scent.
Rejuvenating Cream

Cost
The serum cost $59.99 while the cream is $54.99. The set comes with both the serum and the cream as well as a bonus bottle of the serum and is $99.99.

Final Thoughts
Out of both the serum and the cream my favorite is the cream, mainly because for me I've used serums before and this was the first time I had used a cream/lotion for a long period and I loved how moisturized it made my skin.

I also like how their focus is on improving your skin's natural health, instead of just focusing on restoring an issue on the surface (like acne or eczema). By focusing on the actual quality of the skin everything else will improve also! I'm a big fan of this because I used to struggle with eczema for over a year in high school and would use topical lotions to treat the issue but every time I tried to switch to a non-medicated lotion my eczema would return. So I know the importance of improving the skin's natural health.
