Riwbox Headphone Review
I love using wireless headphones because you don't have to worry about getting tangled up in a cord. Riwbox sent me their bluetooth, over-the-ear headphones to test out, and I had the chance to use them for the past week.
I ordered the black and grey headphones. The grey looked more towards the brown/bronze color family to me, so I wouldn't necessarily call it a true grey (see pics). The other color that interested me was their white and gold ones.
On one side there's controls (volume up and down/forward and back, power, phone, play and pause). The instructions that come with the headphones tell you exactly how to press it in order to access the control you want to use. I tested them all out and had no issues getting them to work properly.
Pros:
-Inexpensive price.
-Good color options to choose from.
-The headphones weren't too tight (didn't hurt my ears from pressure) and they were comfortable to wear.
-They worked with numerous devices (such as an Iphone and Xbox controller).
-Had Bluetooth capability as well as the option to attach with a cord.
-Sound quality was better than I expected. Not as great as my other headphones (which cost a lot more) but playback was clear. Just wish the bass could be stronger, I felt it was lacking.
-Padding around the ear was soft and comfortable.
Cons:
-Didn't stay on well with a lot of movement (so wearing these to workout wouldn't work, however using them while sitting wouldn't cause any problems).
-When folding them up it kind of felt like they might break and like I had to be extra careful.
-Didn't really notice too much difference with noise cancellation. I think this is also because I'm used to my headphones that are pretty tight around the ear and therefore block out more noise. These were not as snug so I felt sound could be heard easier and if you're someone who's looking for the noise cancellation feature I don't think these would be the best choice.
-Needs stronger bass.
Overall I would recommend these if you're looking for an inexpensive, over the ear headphone, that has Bluetooth capabilities. They've held up well so far, and for the price they fulfill most needs!
Headphones were sent to me to review. All opinions are my own.
