So I'm sure almost everyone who watches beauty videos on YouTube knows what the Alex drawers are. If you've never heard of them, they're IKEA drawer units (named the Alex drawers) and tons of people use them to store makeup & beauty related products because the drawers aren't too deep and are perfect for storing an entire makeup collection.
I'll do a post on the drawer units later. Right now I wanted to review these organizers that I bought that are designed to hold various makeup products and also fit perfectly in the Alex drawers! The organizers are made by Sonny Cosmetics (I found them through Instagram) and currently they specialize in making acrylic organizers for the Ikea Alex drawers as well as a few other vanity organizer products.
I was looking specifically for an organizer that would fit in the entire Alex drawer because buying individual acrylic organizers (that hold like 8 products) adds up. Also I didn't want to deal with measuring other organizers and trying to fit them all together like Tetris pieces.
ORGANIZER OPTIONS, DESIGN, PRICES
Sonny Cosmetics currently has 4 different organizers designed for the Alex Drawers. The Alex 39 Organizer, Alex 42 Organizer, Alex 56 Organizer, and Alex 130 Organizer. All are made of clear acrylic and have bottoms so you have the option to remove the entire organizer from the drawer (the bottom was an improvement as the first organizer had no bottom). The organizers do not quite fit the full length of the drawer (otherwise it would be difficult to slide in and out) so I use the extra space to store larger palettes or back up products. Each organizer has outer dimensions of 11 & 1/4" wide, 14 & 1/2" long, and 2" tall.
The Alex 39 and Alex 42 are basically the same, both with three slots across. The only difference is that the Alex 42 has 14 rows going back and the Alex 39 has 13 rows (one less row going back) so that three of the rows are a little larger to hold chunkier products. Also, the number in the names of the organizers lets you know how many products each organizer will hold. The Alex 39 has 39 slots and the Alex 42 has 42 slots. I use these two organizers to hold powder foundations, bronzers, and highlighters. Both cost $49.99 each.
The smaller slots are 3 & 1/2" wide and 7/8" long, and 1 & 7/8" tall. The larger slots are 3 & 1/2" wide and 1 & 1/4" long, and 1 & 7/8" tall.

The Alex 56 has 4 slots across and 14 rows going back (56 slots total) and can hold smaller compacts like blushes or shadows. This one costs $54.99.
The smaller slots are 2 & 5/8" wide and 7/8" long, and 1 & 7/8 inches tall.

The Alex 130 is a lipstick/gloss organizer and will hold 130 products. This is their newest design and it costs $69.99.
The inside compartments are a little over 7/8" by 7/8" and 7/8 inches tall.

Besides the Alex drawer organizers Sonny Cosmetics also has an acrylic brush holder, acrylic makeup box, and lipstick spinner.
They also have sales so if you want to wait for one you can usually get 10-20% off, just be aware that popular organizers tend to go out of stock for a bit so if you wait for a sale the product you want might not be available. (Scroll down for coupon code)!
QUALITY
The acrylic is really thick and durable. All slots are permanent (you can't move or rearrange them) but I like that they are fixed because that makes them sturdy.
One of my organizers came with a defect in the acrylic (see photo), but I direct messaged them on Instagram with pictures and they sent out a new one that same week (the new one they sent was perfect). Their customer service seems to be on top of things and responds quickly.

ORDERING & SHIPPING PROCESS
Ordering and shipping was quick. I ordered through their website and the products were shipped through Priority Mail so it arrived within 3 days. Shipping can be expensive ($11 for 1, $16 for 2 last I checked) because these are larger items, however currently they're offering free shipping over $150.
All of the organizers came packed well. The actual organizer is wrapped in what looks like Saran wrap, then this is wrapped in bubble wrap and plastic before being put into a box (see photos below).

I recently saw another company (Impressions Vanity) release a design that is similar to Sonny's, except theirs is more like separate pieces (lipstick holder, compact holder, etc) that fit together perfectly in an Alex drawer. They aren't one complete organizer that can be removed all together but they do have bottoms so each piece can be removed separately.
Personally I prefer Sonny's design because it's easy to remove the entire organizer if you want to display it on a counter, however I can see the Impressions Vanity ones being good for people who like to mix and match which products they store together. The Impressions Vanity company does have an organizer that holds palettes which I hope Sonny Cosmetics also makes soon! (They've posted they are currently working on new designs).
HOW THEY FIT IN THE ALEX DRAWERS
*See photos at the top of the post to see the organizers set inside the Alex drawers.
I set the Alex 39 and 42 (which I use to hold eyeshadow, blush, bronzers, and highlight) in the top shorter drawers of the IKEA Alex drawers. The Alex 56 I also set in the smaller Alex drawer. I have to set the Alex 130 (lip gloss/lipstick holder) in one of the taller Alex drawers, otherwise with the tall glosses and liquid lipsticks it wouldn't shut all the way.
There is space behind the organizer when it is set in the Alex drawers (about 6 inches). You can either push the sonny cosmetics organizer to the back (and store extra products in front) or pull the organizer all the way forward (and store backup products in the back). I store extra products in the back because then it allows me to remove the organizer from the drawer easily if needed. See images below to see how the organizer looks either pushed all the way to the back or pulled all the way forward.

I really like these organizers and think that they're worth it because they're great quality and allow you to organize an entire drawer of makeup without having to buy multiple organization products. Also this was the first design that I've seen that was been made specifically for the Alex drawers.
If you love makeup I definitely recommend checking out these organizers to clean up your collection!
